The Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba is now officially open for business. With construction in full swing and the schedule up to date, the development, which opens in October this year, is already accepting advance bookings.

The success of this venture confirms the optimistic scenario for the segment. According to a study by the Forum of Hotel Operators of Brazil (FOHB), the hotel market plans to invest R$12.8 billion by 2020. Proof of this is the interest of investors in the market, which is growing gradually and presents opportunities for good, profitable business.

This is what Cariba Empreendimentos, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in the development and management of commercial and residential real estate this year, believes: "The business model is unprecedented in the market, in other words, both Royal Palm Plaza Hotels & Resorts and Cariba are investors and will continue in the development after the opening. This is an important guarantee for investors. That's why we're very optimistic about the hotel's official opening, which is scheduled for October 2016," emphasizes Franklin Gindler, founder of Cariba Empreendimentos.

With an investment of 65 million euros, the development has arrived to meet the demand of the city of Indaiatuba and the Campinas Metropolitan Region (MRC), as well as representing an ambitious project that confirms Royal Palm Hotels & Resorts ' commitment to the countryside. "The Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba arrives at the right time for the city which, with all its assets, lacks a hotel in this category. The development will be the largest upper middle scale hotel in the region aimed at the executive sector, with convention rooms and a haute cuisine restaurant that will serve the local and visiting public with excellence," says Antonio Dias, executive director of Royal Palm Hotels & Resorts.

The Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba is expected to generate 100 direct jobs and will be a full-service hotel. It will have 190 residential units (UH's) including Standard, Luxury, Executive Suites, Longstay and Studio apartments.

The development will also house the Simetria restaurant, on the first floor, with capacity for 160 people. Inspired by contemporary cuisine, with the renowned gastronomy of the Royal Palm Hotels & Resorts group, it is aimed at both guests and the city of Indaiatuba.

The area dedicated to events is impressive. The modular rooms can be transformed into the largest hotel hall in Indaiatuba, with 542 m², a ceiling height of 5.20 m and the possibility of integration with the foyer, as well as direct access for guests.

With its contemporary architecture, bold design and good taste, the hotel has a rooftop leisure area with a gym, sauna and hydromassage pool. In addition, it will have a privileged location in a micro-region with Polo Shopping Indaiatuba, another excellent leisure option for guests.

Why Indaiatuba?

The choice of Indaiatuba is strategic. In an intermediate zone between two of the state's largest economies, the capital of São Paulo and Campinas, the city is part of the Campinas Metropolitan Region, which generates R$91.8 billion a year, representing 11.45% of São Paulo's GDP and 1.8% of the national GDP.

The municipality is just 15 km from Viracopos, one of Brazil's main airports, under concession by Aeroportos Brasil, which plans five investment cycles over the 30 years of the concession, reaching a capacity of up to 25 million passengers/year.

In recent years, Indaiatuba has attracted numerous multinationals due to its logistical advantages and tax incentives, as well as a public administration interested in the entry of new companies. In the last decade, the number of industries based in the region has risen from 353 to 844. Large multinationals have recently chosen the municipality for their investments, most notably Japan's Toyota and Canada's John Deere.

Other indicators confirm Indaiatuba's potential: its economy is worth around R$7 billion a year and the city has jumped from 142nd to 66th place in the national Human Development Index (HDI). The growth in the HDI over the last two decades is an impressive 45.66%. In addition, it came 3rd in the IFDM 2015 (Firjan Municipal Development Index), and is the only city in the top 10 in the entire historical series.
